When it comes to precious metals many of us are not aware of how important they are to industry. Gold is used in many industries from the world of dentistry to the world of electronics. Most of us when we hear the word gold we naturally think of jewelry or gold coins but in fact gold has many applications. Because of this demand for gold from so many fronts there is gold exploration going on all of the time. There is a mining company in Canada, based out of Vancouver, that is working on a large gold exploration project known as the Taysan Copper-Gold Porphyry Project. It is located in the Philippines and has a deposit of gold as well as copper and other precious metals including silver and magnetite. There are other mining projects going on as well to keep these precious metals available as they are needed in the many different venues.
